Otterdock — Additional Terms

These additional terms supplement the SaveTimeForFun Terms of Service and apply specifically to Otterdock. Please read both documents together.
Scope
These terms apply specifically to the Otterdock macOS application. For general terms covering all SaveTimeForFun products, refer to our brand Terms of Service.
System Modifications
The Direct Download Version (Full) manages Dock shortcuts and may restart the Dock process when syncing changes. The Mac App Store version operates within a sandbox that does not directly modify Dock preferences, allowing you to use native stacks by manually dragging group folders into the Dock.
Compatibility Requirements
Otterdock requires macOS 14.0 (Sonoma) or later. The direct download version (Full) requires Accessibility permissions for clicking to trigger custom popups as well as for hover expansion mode. Keeping macOS up to date is recommended for the best experience. Compatibility with future macOS releases is not guaranteed, though we strive to maintain ongoing support.
License Types
Otterdock is available as a free tier (supporting 2 groups with up to 8 items each) with an optional Pro one-time purchase. The direct download Pro license provides a perpetual license for the current major version and all future updates, for personal, non-transferable use on up to 3 Macs owned and used by you; devices can be deactivated in settings to free up slots. Mac App Store in-app purchases are managed entirely by your Apple account and App Store terms, and can be restored using the same Apple account. Direct download licenses cannot be used to activate the Mac App Store edition, and the 3-device limit does not apply to the Mac App Store edition.
Refund Policy
Direct download licenses purchased from our official website include a 30-day unconditional money-back guarantee. If you are unsatisfied, contact support@savetimefor.fun within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. For purchases made through the Mac App Store / Apple, refund requests must be submitted at https://reportaproblem.apple.com; refund eligibility and outcomes are determined solely by Apple policies and applicable law, and our direct refund guarantee does not extend to Apple.
